GROWN UP'S PAINTING EVENINGS & CELEBRATIONS
Whether you are celebrating a 30th, 40th or even a 100th, an anniversary, retirement, baby shower, hen do or you just want a fun and creative get together with family and friends then evening painting is great fun. You can bring wine and nibbles and even decorate the shop! For exclusive use we have a minimum of 15 people with a minimum spend of £25 each on pottery painted. The shop is exclusively yours from 7pm-10pm.

Our studio has been used for TV filming (CBeebies, MTV, TLC), baby showers, craft workshops by visiting artists amongst other things. We have the main space plus an upstairs studio and small downstairs studio.

Looking for a unique and fun way to celebrate a birthday? Our pottery painting birthday parties are the perfect choice for all ages! Whether you're planning a party for a child, teenager or adult we have everything you need for am unforgettable day filled with creativity, laughter and joy!
Why choose Minikin? We have a number of options including exclusive use of the studio with our VIP package which includes a dedicated party host to lead the whole event, make lasting memories, or we have our standard package which inlcudes a private room where you can enjoy pottery painting with friends and a party lunch included .. whichever you choose we are here to make your Birthday Party dreams come true!
Our VIP Package.
Exclusive use of the whole shop, these parties are available to book via our website for a Sunday 10-11:45, alternatively we can do alternative days and times by request. The guests are taken through how to get the best from the paints then choose their pot... there is a choice of 4 items so that if everyone wants the same thing that's not a problem. After painting the children enjoy a birthday lunch of sandwiches, yoghurts, crisps & juice before they decorate biscuits for desert. The children will then decorate bags which their pottery will be returned in before we hit the floor for pass the parcel and singing Happy Birthday!
Minimum of 15 guests including the birthday child. £25 per guest or upgrade to moneyboxes for £35 per guest.

Standard Package
Use of a separate area of Minikin, with its own entrance. The guests are taken through how to get the best from the paints then choose their pot... there is a choice of 4 items so that if everyone wants the same thing that's not a problem. After painting the children enjoy a birthday lunch of sandwiches, yoghurts, crisps & juice before they decorate biscuits for desert. The children will then decorate bags which their pottery will be returned in. Please note: there are no party games with this package.
Minimum of 12 guests, Maximum 18 including the party child. £20 per guest.
Parents to drop off and collect, alternatively a painting table can be booked in the main shop for painting.

Party T&CS​
A non refundable deposit of £50 is taken at the time of booking.
This deposit can be transferred once only providing we are given at least 4 full weeks notice of the original party date.
Final party numbers, dietary requirements and remainder of full payment due 2 weeks before.
Non attendees are not refundable.
Pass the parcel to be brought along by the birthday party
Please do not arrive any more than 5 minutes before the party start time.
We have a large carpark to the rear of the shop.
Ideally parents will drop off and collect, we have space for 4 adults with the party.
All pottery will be collected by the birthday child and distributed 2 weeks after the party.
