POTTERY PAINTING

Can I book a table? Yes, use the booking online tab on our website. If there is a group of 4 or more painters please do mention on your booking to let us know so we can keep a large table free for you.
What is the process? You simply pick your piece of pottery (bisque) & paint however you like using our speciality paints. The pottery is then left with us for 2 weeks for kiln firing before it is ready to collect.
How much does it cost? It depends on the items you select to paint.. pots start at £10 for a coaster, cups are £16, plates start from £20, standard animals, princesses etc are £16, large items like vases, storage jars etc are £30 upwards. This cost includes your painting sessions and all glazing and firing of your pottery.
Are the paints safe? All our glazes are lead, toxic free & water based making them safe for all ages. They simply wash off clothes & skin with water. This makes it a safe activity for all ages.
Will you help me get baby hand & footprints? Absolutely! We can get impressions of any age baby, child or adult.
Do I do the writing on the pottery? That's half the fun! We give you hints & tips plus practice tiles however if you'd rather us our writing service this is available & is priced depending on the level of personalisation. If you use this service pots take a little longer before they are ready to collect.
Can I microwave or dishwash my pottery? No, pottery shouldn't be put in the oven or microwave as they will get extremely hot. Avoid dishwashers to keep your pottery in its best condition.
Is the paint safe for my baby’s hands and feet? Yes, all of our glazes are lead and toxic free so get safe, they are all water based and wipe off with a baby wipe.
How long do you keep finished pots for? 4 Months.

CLAY IMPRESSIONS & STONE OUTPRINTS
What is the process? For both the clay impressions & stone outprints we gentle press hands & feet into soft earthenware clay. This does not hurt & only takes seconds to get the perfect impressions. Once you have selected colours, layout, wording etc you leave us to work our magic before collecting your precious keepsakes approximately 12 weeks later. As all of our frames are bespoke made for every imprint times can vary so please let us know if you need for a certain date.
How much does it cost? Our impressions start at £65 for an unframed hand & foot plaque. For a framed hand & foot prices start at £110. Payment is taken when the impressions are taken.

Can I bring my pram? Yes, we have lots of pram parking inside.
Do you have baby changing? Yes, we have baby changing and highchairs.
Do you have parking? We have a couple of spaces to the side of the shop, if these are full there is a Sainsbury's opposite where you can park for 2 hours.
If you require disabled parking please call & let us know so we can reserve a disabled parking space for you.
Can I pay by card? Yes, we take all card except for American Express.
Do you service drinks & snacks? We serve hot & cold drinks.
